Return & Refund Policy

1. Right of Return

Consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act.

In addition, we offer a voluntary 60-day return period from the date you receive your product. This extended return period is provided in addition to your statutory right of withdrawal.

2. Condition of Returned Products

You have the right to open and inspect the product to the extent necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, and functionality, in the same way you would in a physical store.

To receive a full refund, the returned product should:

  • be unused or only inspected as reasonably necessary

  • be in good condition

  • include all original parts, accessories, and user manuals

  • be returned in its original packaging whenever possible.

3. Reduction in Value

The original packaging is considered part of the product's resale value.

If a product is returned used, damaged, without its original packaging, or with missing components, we reserve the right to deduct an amount corresponding to the actual reduction in the product's value from the refund, in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act.

The reduction in value will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, taking into account factors such as:

  • missing or damaged packaging

  • signs of use

  • missing parts or accessories

  • damage to the product

  • reduction in the product's resale value.

4. Return Costs

A return shipping fee of €5.00 will be deducted from the refund.

If the return is due to a defective, damaged, or incorrectly delivered product, Dapteri will cover the return shipping costs.

5. Returning a Product

If you wish to return a product, please contact our customer service by email at info@dapteri.com.

Please include the following information in your message:

  • your name

  • your email address

  • your order number

  • the product you wish to return.

You will receive return instructions and, where applicable, a return form by email.

Please return the product securely packaged as soon as possible and no later than 60 days after receiving it.

We recommend keeping proof of postage until your return has been fully processed.

6. Refunds

Refunds will be processed after the returned product has been received and inspected.

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless otherwise agreed.

If a deduction is made due to a reduction in the product's value, we will clearly explain the reason for the deduction.

7. Products Excluded from the Right of Withdrawal

Under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, the right of withdrawal does not apply, for example, to:

  • products made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalized

  • sealed hygiene products once the seal has been broken

  • sealed audio or video recordings once the seal has been broken

  • perishable goods

  • services that have been fully performed with the customer's prior express consent

  • other products or services excluded from the right of withdrawal under applicable law.

8. Complaints

We carefully inspect all products before they are shipped.

If the product you receive is defective, damaged during transport, or materially different from what you ordered, please contact our customer service as soon as possible.

Please include:

  • your name

  • your order number

  • a description of the issue

  • photographs or a video showing the defect, if possible.

We will handle your complaint in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act and, depending on the circumstances, offer a repair, replacement, price reduction, or a full refund.

For approved complaints, we will cover all reasonable return shipping costs.

9. Voluntary 4-Month Warranty

We provide a voluntary 4-month commercial warranty on all our products unless otherwise stated on the product page.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects and material defects under normal use.

The warranty does not cover, for example:

  • normal wear and tear

  • damage caused by improper use

  • external damage

  • liquid or impact damage

  • products that have been modified or repaired without authorization

  • damage resulting from use contrary to the product instructions.

If you believe your product has a defect covered by the warranty, please contact our customer service.

This commercial warranty is voluntary and does not limit any statutory rights granted to consumers under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act.

10. Statutory Rights

This Return & Refund Policy and the voluntary warranty do not limit any rights granted to consumers under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act or any other mandatory applicable legislation.
